The quality of all waters of the Tribe will be protected for the use and enjoyment by the people of the tribe. The management and protection of water is a central attribute of tribal sovereignty and its vital to the well-being of its inhabitants. Water has a cultural, spiritual, social, environmental, health, and economic values that require protection and we must guide the appropriate use and management of all resources affecting the watershed and drainage basins of the Reservation and its allotted lands.

Long-term services and supports (LTSS) are a spectrum of health and social services that support elders or people with disabilities who need help with daily living tasks. LTSS can be provided in the home and community or in a facility. Each month the LTSS TA offers information webinars and provides access to a library of webinars. Click below for access.
Tribal leaders, Tribal administrators, American Indian and Alaska Native health advocates, and Federal agency representatives have consistently called for coordination and collaboration among the distinct jurisdictions and entities whose efforts contribute to the health and well-being of American Indian and Alaska Native communities. One view is that the many programs and initiatives intended to improve the spiritual, physical, and emotional health of American Indians and Alaska Natives operate in isolation and would be more effective if they worked more closely together.
